7 things about me...hmmm
1. Though I don't get to, I love to travel...more overseas then .
2. Years ago, pre daughter, I flipped my car off a bridge into a creek bed, Henceforth, by phobia of bridges and gravel roads, specially the combination of the two.
3. My love for sewing came from me wanting to save money on Renaissance Faire Garb...though I still HATE making skirts.
4. I'm too eager to please people, my biggest downfall at times. I've sacrificed myself to make others happy.
5. I have a very very very non existent relationship with my father...long story..not for here.
6. I love being Pagan, No real labels, For me it's not just about spirituality, but a life style and state of mind.
7. I hyper focus on things..resulting on some things getting neglected, then stressing over doing it all.

That was hard, I figure i'm a pretty open book, I try to be a non secretive person.

My picks for Kreativ Bloggers:
1. Donna @ http://threadsofmagique.blogspot.com/

Pagan Pride Days

All over the country this week are local Pagan Pride Days. Though I have never had the pleasure of attending an event, I look forward to it next year. I look at the event as a chance to network with others, and learn from them. I was raised with the ideal that "Knowledge is Power". I always strive to learn the most I can about different topics that arise in life.

I look at the event as a way to learn more about ritual, tradition, tools, and many other aspects of my path and other Pagan Paths. And acquire this from these people. "By Pagans, For Pagans"

I don't think that such an event is equal to "ramming" it down peoples' throats. IF they don't want to know it, don't go to it. I have never heard of a Pagan that goes door to door to "teach" the Pagan way. By my personal opinion, is just that an opinion.

I can't wait til next year, the only choice I have to make...should I just attend, or should I vend??

Preperation

Keeping busy. I got one set of the Cuffs Finished.
Meanwhile, in two weeks, I'll be at Middlefaire, for fun though. And scoping things out, being a new faire in Texas (I consider any faire about 5 years or less new). Who knows maybe I'll look to get a booth there in the future. It will be fun.
Also, I'm getting ready for Screams in Waxahachie, TX. I hope some familiar people come and show some support, I'll post more info as it draws closer.
I'm also planning another event for in December, I'm really excited about it.

I have a love hate relationship with events. I am socially awkward aka shy, but at the same time, I love the idea of people seeing an buying what I make.

Working on....

I'm working on custom wrist cuffs for my Niece. A quick rundown on them

1. "Bound Shamrocks" - Around the wrist will be a cotton fabric that is white with a green shamrock pattern, from there will be a knuckle length ruffle made of Kelly green Silk, topped with a white lace ruffle.

2. "Dark Butterflies" - Black Cotton fabric topped with a black chiffon with silver butterflies imprinted onto it., From there is a short black lace trim with rhinestones.

I should have them done by Friday, along with some new Altar clothes. Low and Behold, my Harvest Challenge Entry, has sold. But still up for a vote.
